Great lighting
I really seem to flip to my Pipboy at some of the greatest moments. The first picture was a flash during a rad storm, and the second was somewhere in a foundry. Not much else, just thought they looked great.
Minimalism in XCOM 2
Among my favourite things in gaming is that some titles have truly great artistic style. Some games even have such distinct styles that you can simply look at a screenshot and instantly know which game series it’s from. Games like Borderlands, Don’t Starve, or Minecraft are a few that come to mind as instantly recognizable. I’ve recently been playing through XCOM 2, and while I find the gameplay graphics to not be overly unique, I do think the minimalist loading screens are a great touch and would make great desktop wallpapers. So here they are if you’d like to use them:

Missed connections: CS:GO edition
I feel like these two searching for a team in nearby, yet separate, lobbies were destined to play together. Alas, after 10 or so minutes never did I see them join each other’s and I think they never crossed paths again. It’s a shame, but it looks like it was never meant to be.

Apparently Nick found a 1 up in the zombie apocalypse and didn’t tell anyone else in the group.
A little wear and tear
Well I suppose it’s time for a new car. Fortunately this one is a rear engine model so I was still able to drive to the dealership.
Unexpected romance in the valley
So I had to give this dandelion to Sebastian as a delivery quest and I overlooked the due date so I ended scrambling for him on the last day. When I wasn’t able to find him anywhere I decided to wait by his house and catch him on his way to bed. I realized holding the dandelion above my head and standing in the rain at night by his house looked much more romantic than I had intended. Mainly because Sebastian is a single guy and, well, I’m not gay. Not that there’s anything wrong with that.
Phew!
A collective sigh was let out by the entire staff around the XCOM HQ when this UFO was shot down with .1 second left. I probably should’ve aborted earlier but I felt like gambling. I don’t think the pilot or their family agree with my decision though.
Nailed the landing
Apparently landing the Pell Silverbolt 6 is supposed to be tricky, so far I’ve had no troubles.
Is it dead?
After killing a Glenmoril Witch I went to behead it for a quest. Well after that it stood up and was just standing still… without it’s head. I slowly backed away, but kept an eye on her just in case.
