Also from season 8 episode 10 “The Springfield Files”. I couldn’t do just one of the shirts now could I?

One of my favourite memories from watching the Simpsons was seeing this episode premier back in Season 8. It’s episode 10 from the season and called “The Springfield Files” and it’s crammed with many classic jokes.

This one comes from the classic “Team Homer” which is episode 12 of season 7 where Homer starts a bowling team. Specifically it’s from the side plot where the kids are rendered lifeless drones once forced to wear school uniforms thanks to the calamity caused by this shirt from Mad Magazine.

Can’t get more simple than this. This is a button that was pulled out of a henchman’s suit pocket instead of an expected gun in episode 5 of season 6 called “Sideshow Bob Roberts” when Sideshow Bob successfully (but not really) runs for Mayor of Springfield.

I believe Springfield’s local radio station KBBL 102.5 is first mentioned in episode 13 from season 1 called “Some Enchanting Evening” but this design comes from season 5 episode 17 aptly called “Bart Gets an Elephant”. If you wear this some might actually demand an elephant from you.

Another classic episode but from before the golden era, this design comes from season 2 episode 2 called “Simpson and Delilah”. This action set cannot be charged to your company health insurance plan.

When I began this design I barely even knew how to use the pen tool. I spent plenty of time zooming and refining my curves for this design and I’m quite happy how it turned out. This design comes from season 8 episode 9 titled “El Viaje Misterioso de Nuestro Jomer (The Mysterious Voyage of Homer)” and damn that is a mouthful.

Another fairly straight forward one, this one is from season 2 episode 5 simply titled “Dancin’ Homer” where Homer has a brief stint as a mascot for the bush league Springfield Isotopes. Sadly his efforts were not appreciated when he moved up to he majors in Capital City. Rather than have a perfect letter H with nice lines and all, I purposely decided to make it a little oblong to reflect the cartoonish nature and Homer’s big gut.

From a golden era season 7 episode 25 entitled “Summer of 4 foot 2” where the Simpsons use Flanders’ beach house, Homer grabs the sticky note from Marge that’s originally attached to the fridge. You can get this as either a sticker or shirt and I’m really hoping you’ll get someone telling you “Well duh” in a Marge voice. Granted that was her response to the sticky notes on the ice tray.

Naturally after I made the Lil Jimbo bunny shirt the next step was to make Jimbo’s skull shirt. There are numerous versions and variations on the show as they’re drawn slightly different each time, I went with the one that appears in season 6 episode 20 called “Two Dozen and One Greyhounds” when Bart is wanting to raise the puppies to defend against bullies.
