Design #37: Me legs gone gimpy!

In season 5 episode 10 called “$pringfield (or, How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love Legalized Gambling)” (by the way I love the nod to Dr. Stranglove in the title) Springfield is shown becoming a town on the verge of economic collapse. After a town hall is held, the citizens agree to legalize gambling and Mr. Burns offers to build a casino. This leads to the viewer finding out that Marge, until now basically a saint of a wife, has a vice and it’s a gambling addiction which ultimately leads to her neglecting her family. While Mr. Burns tours the boardwalk where his casino will be built, he has a flash back of him crippling an Irishmen. One of my favourite quotes to yell when I’ve hurt myself (doesn’t have to be a leg) is “Me ______s gone gimpy!” with said accent and therefor I absolutely had to make this.

Design #35: Show me your tie

In episode 17 of season 9 called “Lisa the Simpson” Lisa struggles with the fact that she is slowly losing her intelligence thanks to the Simpson gene. Ultimately this does not happen as the gene is only applicable to Simpson men. The side plot of this story is that Apu turns the Kwik-e-Mart into a Freak-e-Mart after finding Jasper frozen in one of his freezers. While he remains the star attraction, one of the side shows is the offensive baseball cap. As Rod and Todd are about to read it saying show me your tits, Ned covers their eyes and says it says show me your tie, it’s cute let’s go. I chose to recreate this product in a non offensive fashion.

Design #34: Genius at Work

Ah the classic episode from season 8 episode 14 called “”The Itchy & Scratchy & Poochie Show”. From the golden era and contains so many great lines. In short Itchy & Scratchy show is dropping in ratings and they decide to add Poochie, voiced by Homer to the show and that does ultimately not work out. And how can forget how the Simpsons mirrored this by adding Roy living with them out of left field. When the voice actors are holding a conference and a nerd wearing this shirt is promptly put in his place.

Design #33: I’m a stupid baby

This design is from the golden era episode called “Home Sweet Homediddly-Dum-Doodily” which is episode 3 in season 7. In this episode Marge and Homer lose the kids to a foster home and have to take a class on having a happy home. In classic Simpsons fashion, the kids end up at the Flanders house of course. In one scene Maggie is seen wandering around with a note on her calling her a stupid baby, so why not tell the world you’re a stupid baby too?

Design #32: Rich Bitch

This design comes from an episode called “Fat Man and Little Boy” which is the fifth episode of season 16. Homer essentially lives the dream when he quits his job because his son is making a ton of money. Bart begins designing crude t-shirts and starts selling them in stores owned by Goose Gladwell, who owns stores that sell all sorts of novelty toys. As you can imagine, I’ve got this episode saved as there are a ton of other simple shirt design I plan on recreating.

Design #31: I’m with stupid… on the moon

And with this design I’ve now expanded into four cartoons. This one comes from Futurama season 1 episode 2 called “The Series has Landed”. Fry’s first delivery in the year 3000 is to the moon, something he always looked up to and dreamed about visiting back in his life in the 1900s. But now the moon is a commercialized tourist spot and rather underwhelming for him. If you watch this episode, you might get the “we’re whalers on the moon” song stuck in your head like I did.

Design #30: Bullseye

In season 11 episode 14 called “Alone again, Natura-diddily” Homer paints his stomach with ketchup as a bullseye in an attempt to get hit with a t-shirt gun. But unfortunately a bobby-pin on the ground catches his eye and he moves out of the way of a flying t-shirt. This leads to Maude Flanders getting hit, falling to her death and killing off her character. If you don’t want to get messy with ketchup you can buy this design instead.

Design #29: Steve’s lucky shirt

This one is from the pilot episode. Ultimately Steve considers this his lucky shirt, and wears it when deciding to ask out the head cheerleader at school. Ultimately it does not work out. And if buying this and wearing it doesn’t land you a date, then you can try and get a dog. Which I cannot sell you.
